Hi Scores and leaderboards in mySQL?

Ok I have this website that deals with a golf game and we have a tour every week, problem is I need to make a leader board where the users can login using thier PHPbb logins (this I can do no problem) but the problem I have is getting it so the scores are reported by the players then changed to confirmed status by the admin staff after the score has been verified.

Ok nowI need help lol, I am not knowledgeable with mySQL and PHPto do this, but need suggestions, I kow exactly what I want it to do, but I can't do it, any ideas folks?

I'm sure that I came across something similar in the PHPbb module list on one of the support sites, that might be a worthwhile first step. The MySQL stuff's probably quite easy, unfortunately I know from bitter experience that PHPbb interfacing isn't straightforward.

the problem I have is I already have a PAfileDB installed with nearly 1,500 entries and I would need to reorganise everything and change value names to get it into the PHPbb integration.

I am working on layouts now, I think I am goin to have to do a totally custom db for this and also move off a script and go to a totally custom DB for the files too. Its a pain, but I guess if you are gonna do it you are gonna do it.
