Bing integration in IE9

Getting fed up of trying to explaint his to my old man, but he thinks thats the Bing integration in IE 9 is intrusive and wants it removed. You know clicking on your URL bar and right at the very boottom you see the Bing logo.

Doesn't bother me in the slighrst, but he also thinks it's stopping hom from doing what he wants to do.

Told him just switch to either FireFox or Chrome or Opera, but it would seem he'd still rather use IE.

So before I take his laptop and insert it somewhere unmentionable, anyone know of how to remove Bing ?
