Already running BOINC since the beta was released

Pretty good software - pity the actual display it shows for the processing i.e the graphs and waves etc look as if they are being rendered by a S3 triov 64+ and not a 5950 Ultra

Maybe thats going to be their next update.

Begrudgingly, even though i dont run Seti at the mo, i do not like the way the credit system works. When i upload a unit i want it to darn well show up not sit there in limbo untill a certain number of people have also uploaded the same unit.

    Bleh.

Looks like i will shortly be looking for another dis-comp project to get my megahertz stuck in to.

Been doing BOINC for ages now, moved all my PCs over to it, but have kept SETI on them whenever I run out of units to crunch and the server goes down.

hmmmm I would move over but did not see a command line version and also a queueing program like I have with Seti already, anyone got any updates on this?

Also does it carry accross my 6000+ units?

Your credits will remain at SETI, and you will start on 0 with BIONC, it uses a complete different credit system based on the CPU time used instead of work units.

Well one day the old SETI will stop, so you are going to lose your units one way or another......

I moved over pretty much the moment S@H2 gone public. I'm currently ranked [b]26th[/url] in the world!! Let's see how long I can keep this up!

If you're interested, you can check out our stats page and our team page over at S@H...
