Re: Not able to write the iso on the USB stick

    try a different stick?

And while I am at it why spam the exact same post in two different places on the forum?

Not really the best way to start

Re: Not able to write the iso on the USB stick

I had the same problem. Tried everything to boot from a USB and had problems at every conceivable stage...

If your upgrading, try loading the file on to an ISO program (i.e. PowerISO). If its a fresh PC, burn it to a disk if you can.
If you cant do either of these, good luck...

Try running it as Administrator, that's often the 1st step to troubleshoot.

Also, check the integrity of the iso file, maybe do a checksum.

If running as Administrator doesn't work, try the solution at

If the ISO is fine then try winToFlash I used it just yesterday and it booted up fine. You'll have to extract the ISO to a directory and then point WinToFlash to the directory. And it should make a copy of that entire directory to a specified USB stick which you can boot.
