    Installing Motherboard Drivers w/out OS

Hi, is it possible to install the motherboard drivers before the OS. I want to build a computer for a friend so I dont want to create an account.

You could slipstream drivers onto a custom Windows install DVD.

Theres also software out there which will allow you to reset windows after a setup so that during the next boot it asks for user account info and also expects the end user license agreements to be checked again as you do during the windows install process or when you turn on a brand new retail PC for the first time, most custom built computers have this method used on them, what version of windows are you planning to use ? and i'll see if i can find one for you, its marginally easier than editing windows installation discs with non of the user account hassle your trying to avoid..

Or if someone else knows what im talking about it would be extremely helpful because at the moment im really struggling to remember the term for these peices of software and google isnt being helpful. lol

Or, an even easier alternative, ask your friend what windows account name he wants. Make that account the admin and then make a new account, also admin, and use the second account to install drivers. Then go to the first account and completely delete the second. I'm pretty sure this should work.
