DVD Audio synch...or lack of

Hi,

got me new laptop a month or so ago, came with Intervideo WinDVD 4. Problem is, the picture is displayed a quarter of a second or so before the audio plays...and I can't take out of synch stuff, its just *wrong*.

Not tried with the particular dvd I tried tonight, but others work perfectly on my Mac, so I'm assuming its a software setting or sommat on this laptop.

Any ideas??

u enabled video acceleration in power dvd?

Yup..is that a bad thing?? Just put that laptop away, so I'll have to try later..
