For those with an Adobe ID (registration is free), head here for a pleasant surprise:

CS2, Premiere Pro 2, Acrobat Pro 8, and Audition 3 all free. And this is straight from Adobe themselves!

For those in any doubt, Adobe's own Jeff A. Wright posted here the following:
"Yea CaptainSmingey we are aware that the software is available for all users with an Adobe ID. Please keep in mind that due to the age of these software titles it is likely that they will not function properly on modern operating systems."
These apps have had activation removed primarily for users that are still on older licenses of Adobe software. There are "new" serials for each app on that download page, be sure to use these. Ladies and Gents, start your downloaders!
