    Hard Drive info program?

Hi chaps, I need to get some info about the hard drives on all the commuters at work, I know this can be done in the bios and bootup, but a quick ‘exe’ program that could tell me the size and make might be good. Just a thought before I start?

    Any ideas?

Go start > control panel > system > hardware tab > device manager.

From here, open up the "disk drives" icon and it'll give you the model number of the hard drive, this you can shove in google or the manufacturers website and hey presto

    Hope that helps

Belarc Advisor will tell you the make of hdd and loads of other stuff...sometimes in the device manager in 9x it only says generic device or something iirc.
