    JAVA BYTEVER and FEMAD (virus type thing)

    The only ever virus malware thing i get is the JAVA BYTEVER and more recently a FEMAD one.

    Ive updated my java but it never makes a difference what exactly is going on with this and what kind of things could be happening to my computer?

    Goto www.trendmicro.co.uk in personal and use its online scanner to see if you have it?

    Byteverify only effects Microsoft's Java VM, so if you have the "real" Java installed you shouldn't have a problem anyway.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    To remove MS JVM try one of these:

    Program:http://www.physci.org/jvmclean.jsp
    Manual Instructions:http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/uninstmsjava.html

    Then make sure you have the latest Sun version installed

    Well I think so. I have heard that Internet Explorer can sometimes default back to using Microsoft’s version, so it is best to try and remove it.

    Open this test page and it will tell you what version of Java you are using and display a dancing logo.

    Strangely, when I went to the page using Internet Explorer it also opens a page saying no Java installed, but the applet works fine, lol. Glad I use Firefox.
