    messed up office 2003 word default page!

    i have messed up my default load up page, how do i reset it or ajust it?

    rename normal.dot to normal.old

    done a search for normal.dot and did not find it, even with hidden and system files showing! hmmm

    should be able to open up a document, make it completely blank and then save that as normal.doc in the templates folder...

    Do a wildcard search on "normal.do?"

    When you find the bugger, delete it... worst case scenario, PM me with your email addy and I'll send you mine lol

    i just deleted it but word still loads up with balls up margins!! why!!

    Now you should be able to change the margins, find normal.dot and save it

    Also, check your paper settings (ensure A4, not legal or letter!)
