So which of these is the mouse pointer display process?

Has happened several times now in the past week. All of a sudden the mouse pointer stops in one place, while the mouse continues to work otherwise normal.

Basically i can navigate around windows using the high-light effect that normally happens, except i'm basically moving around blind as the mouse pointer just decides to not come along

I have to restart for it to work again. Not sure what to do, happens on both the touchpad and external mouse. i've had the laptop for 2 months now so it isnt a normal problem, i just don't know which process could be causing the problem

Its probably intergrated into explorer or something.

Try turning hardware mouse cursors on/off.
You can do it in: display propertys->settings->advanced->troubleshooting
and moving the slider one notch.

Its stopped doing it now, very random

I hate when i don't know whats going on with my comp. hope it doesn't come back
