Just installed Red Hat 9 and dont really know much about Linux, Partly why I installed it. Just wondering how To get MSN messenger in Linux. Microsoft dont do a version by the looks of things. Is it possible?
Thank you
Ok. Ignor the first bit, Just realised that probably involved you recomending warez and thats against the terms and conditions. I have downloaded dMSN. It is a .bin file, How do I install?
edit : I realise how much of a NewB I sound. Every one has to start some where though
edit 2 : Doesnt matter. I worked it out.
Have a read of this , it mentions a few
Gaim is pretty good. You'll need to install the MSN plugin. No fancy features or owt, but it does the trick for chatting and the odd emoticon
There used to be a chat client called everybuddy for nix, am not sure if it is still about but it is worth a try. It was a bit like trillian and could do multiple logins to multiple services at the same time.
amsn is also pretty good if you only need msn functionality
Who's your daddy?
I use aMSN in Mandrake - works well enough!
