    Windows XP - wallpaper

Is there a way to create a wallpaper and adjust it automatically via the web?

For e.g. say you had something like a wallpaper showing a picture, is there anyway that when you log onto the web, the wallpaper connects to a server and updates the wallpaper?

If so how do you do it? Cheers.

Active desktop has this kind of feature. But its hassle and annoying.

Just set a bookmark to where the wall paper is and vist it regularily.

If you mean "update" as in show an RSS feed or weather or something, you can get something like konfabulator to show feeds and more from the net

Yes. Goto the widgets bit, and on the main page IIRC, it has the PDF tutorial and demo widgets.

Get the tool that unzips the widgets
