I used to Norton Ghost interface.. and stick to it..
Im a hardcore ghost corp user but the fact that Drive image runs in a windows PE environment gets my attention after the problems I have with some of these DOS Nic drivers.
Edit that and the fact fact you can image in windows I just read will definately have to look into it.

Wont make much difference, soon it will all be Symantec Ghost.
Oh yeah and Ghost is not a backup program, it is for deployment.

It's already Symantec Ghost, but the Norton brand name is worth a fair packet hence Norton anti-virus has a big Symantec logo & has done for a good few years.
And Ghost isn't an ideal deployment solution, it lacks basic OEM activities such as EasyRestore functionality. It's used by companies because they're used to using it, not because it's the better product. Booted Ghost runs in DOS, and therefore sucks. End of.

Sorry you misunderstood!
Drive image will soon become Symantec Ghost.
Dos sucks...mmmmm strange thought that one.
In any case the company is aware of the problem with Dos and like I said it wont be an issue soon, your choice may be a little more limited.
