hi guys -
I've not yet resorted to asking cpanel directly, but my new hosts don't seem to be able to help...
I'm trying to pre-populate 3 add-on domains in cpanel 10, before changing A records to point at the new server.
Unfortunately Cpanel has had an attack of the clevers, and says (quite rightly) - sorry, can't do this, this server isn't authorative for these domain names:
or
Addon Domain Additions
Bind reloading on server32 using rndc zone: [example.com] Bind reloading on ns1 using rndc zone: [example.com] Bind reloading on server10 using rndc zone: [example.com] Bind reloading on ns2 using rndc zone: [example.com] The subdomain, subdomain.example.com has been added.
Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not
appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to
this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ip.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.

Removed Entry from httpd.conf The subdomain, subdomain.example.com has been removed.
example.com could not be setup. The subdomain subdomain.example.com was not setup either.
surely there's an option to override this, alternatively, I'm going to have to get them to edit the httpd.conf manually to add the vhosts, but how do I reflect this in Cpanel -
there's a file in .cpanel-datastore called apache_LISTMULTIPARKED_0 formatted as
Code:
pst0[3x NULLS]1234[series of NULLS]
!/home/myhomedir/public_html/parked domain[2x tabs][3x NULLS]example.com[4x nulls]subdomain.example.com
anyone familiar with these at all?
