Basically my computer has decided i cant run anything from the cd drive, (anything that autoplays is fine, but it cant start anything else, just the front end bit)
Now, i can access data, and thus can get round it by copying the cd to the hard disk and runninfg from there, but its a bit annoying.
Ive come to the conclusion its a permission error, but i cant for the life of me recall whereabouts the option to switch on the advanced permissions stuff in xp pro is.
Any help?
open a folder and go to tools->folder options->view, scroll to the bottom and incheck use simple filesharing.
However that will not solve your problems. do a start->run->gpedit and have a look around there. I also doubt thats the problem. Its a wierd one.
