Telnet/SSH software better than PuTTY?

Ive been using PuTTY for as long as i can remember for telnet and SSH..

Just wondering if theres anything better available?.. i would love a client that can manage multiple sessions in one main window, in tabs or something as i normally have 6-10 ssh sessions to various systems at any one time!.

Any suggestions?

SecureCRT as well but it's not free.

If you're not familiar with anything but putty, you may not be familiar with screen. It's an enormous help for single sessions.

Windows 7 will also make having multiple PuTTy connections less of a pain. I also highly recommend screen, and screenie as a GNU screen wrapper, screenie makes using screen *much* easier. All you need to really remember is Ctrl+a, Ctrl+d to disconnect from the current screen session and get a list of screen sessions, which you can label. If your distro doesn't have it in it's repository, just download the script from http://pubwww.fhzh.ch/~mgloor/screenie.html, copy it to /usr/local/bin/, and chmod it to 755 and it should just work(tm).
