SETI the only project you guys are into?

Noticed no references to any other DC projects here and was wondering if SETI was the only one you did. Yes, I'm to lazy to dig around

I do F@H and about every year, since leaving the MURC after several years, I get bet bored with the team I'm on and want to move on.
No team has had the feel that the MURC did, it was a small team but pretty good for an average of about 25 active users weekly.

Anyway, just wondering, not looking to change projects but the class of the people here is a big draw in my opinion.

Yeah, I saw the UD stuff around

Was just hoping you were going to tell me different than what you did

One question that's VERY important to production- can it be installed as a service?

I run my clients on 6 boxes at home (4-24/7 F@H & other 2 24/7 when not in use) and I have several dual xeon machines at work plus several HT capable P4's at work that make a HUGE diff in what I can put out. If I can't install as a service with multiple instances running then I lose a ton of power.
I have a total of 14 clients running on just 5 boxes. About 35 Gig of procs running, not braggin' just trying to point out how important it is to have a project that can use all that.

Edit- never mind I wrestled myself over to the FAQ, that's a bummer
I used to do SETI, it's what got me into DC, started building my first dual P2 Xeon machine to run SETI. Had 3 duallies running back then just for SETI. Gave it up when they took away the Xeon advantage

Hope you don't mind me posting in this bit as a non-Hexus cruncher.

HT doesn't make a great deal of difference to any DC app AFAIK, a few percent difference at best with it enabled. PPD (on folding at least) is maybe 2-3% higher if you run two instances instead of one on a HT P4.

AFAIK (again) the only medical DC projects to make good use of duals are FAH and Find-A-Drug. Not sure whether FAD can be installed as a service, but I think it can.

Rave, I do FAH (folding @ Home) and run 2 instances for every proc or thread.
