    UDF and Answer Files in regard to Windows XP Pro Installation??

    Hey peoples

    Don't know wheather anyone can help, but I need to get educated in regard to UDF and Answer Files, has anyone got any suggestions on where I could read up on this??? (I kinda need this to be explained to me as if I was a four year old)

    I think its in windows 2000 server for dummies :-)

    the answer files thing is the same, its basically a text file which has all the answers to the questions that XP asks you when you install it.

    a UDF files seems like an answer file with with multiple answer sets. You choise an answer set depending on the install.

    the XP OPK help file details every single entry you would ever want to use in your WINBOM.INI, i can sling it your way if you like.
