    JavaScript Help

    Ok im not too sure if this was the right place to post this, so if not mod's sorry for making the mistake.

    Ok so my problem. I have a list of images on a html page. What im trying to do make a verification type thing with JavaScript to show the address or location of these images on the webpage.

    I cant seem to find anything like this on the net anywhere after much searching through google results. Maybe im looking for the wrong thing, im not too sure.

    So if anyone could help me out with displaying the image locations on the html page with JavaScript (not in a seperate window) that would be great.

    Thanks

    Image locations as in URL? or position? Ive never actually written much javascript, but i imagine it wouldnt be too difficult to to do. Im pretty certain theres a command to change teh text in a div.

    locations as in URL, it doesnt matter where the image is posted. I just need to prove that the image is coming from where I am saying its coming from basically.

    <img src="abc.gif" name="image1">

    alert(document.image1.src)

    why do you need to have a list of the source of the images? Aren't you defining them anyway in the html? Why not just view the html source to see where the images are coming from?
