messenger prob driving me insane

Yes im a the world biggest b00b/n00b both? probably but when im on msn (6.1) latest afaik and i have a message box up, just above the text box wher you write in your message there should be a bar with shortcut buttons for changing the font and a liast of smileys. Mine has DISSAPEARED and i CANNOT get it back its been getting to me for ages now. I have tried reinstalling msn several times and its not there on the fresh intsall either.

I know im not mad and this does exist cos ive seen it on knoxys msn

Please does anyone have any suggestions. You can have a cookie if you do

When i got into tools theres no option to show toolbars ??

am i missing something?
