I just picked up the gold edition from Game (well they sent it me, I had it pre-ordered) and it has the 2 DVD cases inside an extra box thing.

Well, the install says there is a CD-Key on the inside manual..... There are no manuals anywhere, nothing, not one piece of reading material, just the 2 DVD cases, the 3 CD's and the cardboard thing that the DVD boxes go in.

Any idea what is going on? Or have they just not put any manuals in the cases at all?

my cd key was on the back of the manual, not on the inside like stated, but that was the classic edition a year ago. manual was just in the cardboard box...

Heh, I don't have ANY manuals at all. Just the outer cardboard, the 2 cases, and the 3 discs, no documentation at all.

Checked in at Game on the weekend and they said firstly they don't have any manuals and secondly they wouldn't give me one if they did, so now begins the long winded process of emailing them and waiting for responses.

So much for pre-ordering to get it earley. Useless bastards.

guess you have 2 choices:

1) contact bioware and say 'do you know about this problem'

or

2) send it back to game and say its missing the manuals

you could get a key generator... i doubt it would be considered wrong if you bought the game = /.

The whole reason I bought the game was to get a vaild key allowing me to play online (and to support the developers, blah blah blah).

Illegal keys don't work on the internet.

Have tou checked the CD's for a manual? long shot but its worth a go surely

Right, turns out there is a manual on the CD.... but no key.

But I found the key..... It's under where the discs are in the case, where you actually wont see it unless you take out all 3 of the discs, which you wouldn't do when installing.

Nice of them to tell us where it is relocated.
