Would anybody be willing to help me convert a single file? I just downloaded a single song form itunes and only then did I realize all this stuff about converting formats. Being a student I hardly have alot of cash spare as it is, so I don't really want to fork out money for one of these programs for just one song. If anyone could spare some time for this request I would be really grateful!

Well I did try one of the trial versions of a converter program (forgot the name) and i managed to get 30 secs converted to MP3, so does that mean this particular file can be converted without worrying about apple preventing the conversion?

That would depend on whether you were asking if it could *technically* or *legally* be done. Technically it looks like you have your answer, legally I think you probably know the answer...

I used to tie the speaker out and line in and record using sound recorder in XP, now i use Protected Music Converter, can remove drm on m4p and wmvs....

I am using *llamas* M4P Converter which uses virtual technology for burning protected music.
To my surprise, *llamas* can convert my iTunes library (containing more than one thousand m4p songs) at a time! Converting speed is super fast! Output file quality is excellent!
