Internet home page problem

I have a small problem, I dont live having a home page, but I have picked up something that has given me a homepage. I keep turning it off and it keeps comming back :-( . How can i get rid of it completely?

get yourself a copy of spybot - search & destroy
from http://www.safer-networking.org/

and scan your PC with it - look especially for things marked as a browser hijack.
