    Red face WMP11 & Update Issue with MCE2005

    Alright, a bit of a long one here so I'll try to condence what happens in a nice and easy to read way ;

    Lee gets in from work - see's that quite a lot of new DJ mixes etc have been added to the libary so he think's okies tonight is going to be a "house,trance,techno,D&B,Breaks,whatever genre has been aquired" night and powers up the speakers

    1) WMP11 opens on MCE2005 and states there is an update for WMP11 on MCE2005 available.

    2) I download this update - roughly 20-30 Mb each time ( after WMP closes ) and then it starts to install.

    3) Windows installer appears and does something for 10 minutes and then states that the installation was not complete and it cannot install the update.

    4)Load WMP again and volia - repeat from #1

    Now before you start flaming WMP11 and pointing laughing at the spawn of volegate, I REALLY don't care about foobar or how winamp or anything else has progressed since the last time my wandering eye had a dabble with them all I really want to know is the following ;

    Apart from going into the settings and cancelling windows updates for WMP11, any ideas on how I get this update installed as it must be important.

    So - any advice apart from the "other players" as WMP is default and I don't want to change it for plugin and network streaming reasons.
