Premiership's Big Sunday - Man Utd vs Liverpool & Chelsea vs Arsenal

Big weekend in the Premier League this week with two key fixtures that could go some way toward deciding the title race; Man Utd vs Liverpool and Chelsea vs Arsenal.

Anybody care to make any predictions?

    Man Utd 2 - 1 Liverpool
    Chelsea 2 - 0 Arsenal

    Those are mine.

Gotta love stupid comments like that, Chelski & Judas scum, biggest shock of the day will come at the Emirates, Arsenal start with an English player on the pitch!

Plus weren't you happy having a Judas scum playing for Arsenal in the form of Sol? Hypocrite? Oh yes.

Half time Man U 1-0 Liverpool. Both in score and red cards. All i can say, what a fecking idiot. After the Cole incident you'd have thought players would have learnt something, obviously they haven't.

Mascherano is a plank, there was no need to run up to the ref when you are already on a yellow. I don’t think he said anything particularly bad especially when you consider what Cole did, and whats worse is that Alonso and Benitez tried to stop him.

6 points clear now. I’m off to watch the Chelsea match, hoping for a draw

Don't think anybody quite got the score predictions right. I did get the winners though.

Still a three way title race in my opinion, Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal are all still contenders.

Re: Premiership's Big Sunday - Man Utd vs Liverpool & Chelsea vs Arsenal

    lol.

I thought that the red at the Old Trafford game was quite a harsh one really. However, if you rewatch before this happened, he was warned several times by the ref in other incidents to keep his trap shut.

They should make the rules like Rugby. INSTANT RESPECT for the Ref - any abuse to them should automatically recieve a warning or even a card. The reason - simple. Each week you see the big names in the premiership, even some of Utd's players I'll freely admit that one telling the ref to " F this" and " F that " and they get away with it.

Now with the advancements of TV, people see these all the time and kids see all their favourite stars doing it and think " oh it must be okay if Owen or Rooney does it "

Re: Premiership's Big Sunday - Man Utd vs Liverpool & Chelsea vs Arsenal

Well tbh the ref was shocking, Torres kicked all around the pitch nothing given. Finally after Torres gets his legs hacked 3 times the ref finally gives a free kick and Torres shows his unhappyness at what has been going on and then the ref gives him a yellow for it....
There was one incident which Torres picked up his injury from where the Man Utd player rapped his legs around Torres leg and the ref wanted to ****ing play on!
Gerrard said it best to the ref after the typical diving cheat Ronald dived and won a free kick (yeah diving whole game but no yellow card...) "you're taking the ******* piss"

Re: Premiership's Big Sunday - Man Utd vs Liverpool & Chelsea vs Arsenal

Mash was stupid for what he did but it will be interesting to see if the next time a player pesters the ref like that if they`ll be booked.

John Terry has been getting away with badgering the ref for years now.

MAsh was really pumped up for the match which was good to see but from the tackle he was booked for initially(Other tackles in the game that where similar went unbooked.) didnt seem happy with Him.

THe funny part for me was half time though. I was expecting Andy gray to thump rednap at one point. Even though hes a blue nose he does speak sense some times. When MAsh went over he wasnt swearing or getting violent he just asked why nando had been booked. The ref didnt say anything but booked him and sent him off.

THat killed the match off completely when he was sent off. Even though during the second half we came back a bit and looked like we might have a chance of getting a draw but going down to 10 men against manure is always going to be hard and they made it count.

Rooney was talking out his arse after though saying the sending off had no bearing ont he game. Before the sending off it was pretty close for parts of the second half we played quite well. have 1 more man on the pitch meant united could stretch us as we tried to get the eqauliser.

Ah well ITs gong now we`ll just have to wait till moscow for revenge.. And most probably england getting banned from europe forever
