Makes a nice change doesn't it :-) Might be a bit early to gloat, but I say stick the boot in while the going's good.

Nooo don't say it. There are still three more Tests to go, and if the Umpires behave a bit better we might have even less chance at winning.

Shh... don't go there - not yet, there are a few more games to go before we can gloat once again.

Don't wind up the Aussie bar staff that are also working in many of our fine establishments. They might add some 'extras' to your pint if you mention the 'cricket' to them.

Lord suits the Aussies as its "on the slope" which I believe is an old fashioned term for being the misbegotten progeny of horse thieves and sheep worriers
If Wisdom is the coordination of "knowledge and experience" and its deliberate use to improve well being then how come "Ignorance is bliss"

Flintoff really did warrant a century for the amount of love and praise heaped onto him; but he fell short. Lets hope he can deliver some good overs!

Re: Aussies.... would you care to have some Cricket Lessons?

Hmm... I think the Aussies gave us the cricket lessons in the last Test :-/

Here's hoping for a victory at the Oval, as has been noted in many places England having a chance to win the Ashes on the last Test is pretty good already

Australian seem have the momentum with the, so I am slightly worried about the last test, all they have to do is to either win or draw and they keep the ashes.

Then again this is England's best chance as this is the probably the weakest Australian team I have seen in the last ten years.
