looooong ride and run coming up - Welsh coast to coast
anyone done much MTB across Wales before? 2 peeps and I have strung together a course of sorts:
140 miles (+/-) off-road MTB from coast near Neath, via Brecon to near Dolgellau, then 60 mile hike/trek off-road via Snowden to the Lower Conwy, then kayak the 9 miles to the coast. Time limit is 48hrs, so we won't sleep much. Bit daunted by the distance, but we set off on Thurs. If you hear about anyone being airlifted off Snowden in the middle of the night, Friday, you'll know who to laugh at

Fair enough, im guessing your going Llandovery way and then over the mountains to Llanidloes? Fair play though, thats going to take some doing!
The a40 from llanidloes to aberystwyth is partially closed at the moment anyway so probably for the best!
