    Six Nations

    How's everyone enjoying it?

France is always the favourite for me, but if Wales cut down the mistakes it's ours for the taking! The Welsh team often seems to provide us with excitement in the last couple of minutes.

Ireland played well, but I think it was a fair result today. Scotland and England? I think they just mediocre teams at the moment, England's new look gives them hope for the future though.

And Italy will try and cause an upset somewhere in the fixture list.

only had a chance to watch the highlights, but am slightly optomistic about england -as relatively unknowns, the pressure is on the other teams to make their experience show/ count.

    roll on next weekend!

I dropped into a local bar last night for 20 minutes while my food order was being cooked a couple of doors down and the Scotland vs England game was pretty exciting from what I seen.

Will be keeping a close eye on what goes on

    Re: Six Nations

Scotland were dire (if only they could actually string any phases together in the red zone), England weren't much better (at least they didn't drop it much in the red zone but they didn't have much ball which is worrying). Scotland should drop Dan Parks, Laidlaw was much more dynamic and flyhalf, still don't understand why Charlie Hodgson is playing flyhalf, I'd of still picked Flood.

New English centres looked good, saw Barritt play in South Africa (for the Natal Sharks) so always knew he'd be able to setup. Was also impressed with Denton at 8 for Scotland, had a really good game and deserved man of the match, if only there were people around him to back him up.

The Italians look like they are going to run it a bit more than before but still won't get anywhere. The French seemed a little lethargic but I'm sure they'll get going at some point. Good to see that the 2 scrum halves of the world cup are back to 1 and a flyhalf, Lievremont was always a little wacky.

Wales vs Ireland was the pick of the games. Wales deserved the win especially after all the missed kicks by Priestland (seemed his standing foot was giving him issues - was heavily strapped).

Bradley Davis should of been sent off, no way that was just a yellow card. Irish guy was very unlucky to be yellow carded. Hope the Davis isn't doesn't set a precedent for situations like these.

France should win it, Ireland and Wales should give them a run for their money though. Depends which England turns up for the rest of the games (France in Paris being the key game, although they need to thrash Italy in Rome next week), they certainly need to be more dynamic than they were against Scotland. Scotland just need to learn how to score tries...

Bradley's sending off I thought was well deserved, off the ball, what a "tw@t", I thought he'd lost the match for us.

He only got a yellow (10 mins off the pitch). It should of been a red (sent off completely ala Warburton in the World Cup). Hopefully he'll be cited and banned for a couple of days. That "tackle" deserves it.

    Re: Six Nations

Had a really good lazy weekend watching the rugby.

England were lucky to win. I'm not sure about alot of the new caps tbh, you can not drop them now though as you may end up de motiviating them. Scotland played all the rugby and had a better game plan. I suppose the execution was not there or Englands defense. The Scots No. 8 looks like hes going to be some player.

Wale's Philliips has to stop carrying the ball all the time, I would love to see his passed to run stats.

Apparently he has been cited and deservedly so.

North was superb and should have got man of the match, I thought.

    Really, it wasn't.

It was a typical calcutta cup display, pretty awful to watch, and whoever makes less mistakes wins. Either side could have won, both had more chances to actually put together something decent but they were always scuppered by mistakes. The only thing you can tell is that the England new guys weren't phased by the Scots (correctly, but you never know) and that the Scots didn't have enough confidence over the new English side - if they don't regroup then they could be in a bad way vs France or Wales.

France or Wales look good to me.
