It should be slubberknocker every bit as good - if not better than their US open final unless one of them is off their game or something terrible happens .

Hard one to predict , but I think Murray definitely needs the better start to give himself a bit of mental cushion rather than playing chase up ( something Djoker is far better at IMO )

Frankly, I don't give a hoot about tennis. I don't watch it, and wouldn't watch it if it was a Brit tipped to win at Wimbledon. I also don't care who wins, as long as it's "anyone but Murray".

Beyond that, my interest in tennis is that it's marginally more fun to watch than football .... and considerably less fun than watching paint dry.

What I dont get is why you would take it so personally ? ( esp if you dont care about the sport to start with )

Its well known almost any Scotsman would prob say the same thing - the auld rivalry ( whether in jest or otherwise ) is something that is apparent in many facets of life including numerous English presenters who have gone as far as saying Murray was English ( which no doubt would of pissed him off too )

For the record Murrays best friend , support team and GF is English, and he lives in England too, so do you really think hed be doing all that if he was anti English ?

The guy has millions , he could live and prob date any pretty he chooses yet he chooses England instead , if that doesnt tell you something - nothing will.

Any way back to the tennis ..

Yeah , I was actually fan of Henmans Serve and volley game ( and he was good volleyer ) but he never had it Mentally , or in the power dept to be a real threat.

Your girl Laura Robson ( whose English ) though has good chance of being the next big best thing after Murray .

Shes still youngish , has big serve and forehand and only lost out to Sloane Stephens , who as you know , beat Serena.

You asked, in your last thread, if he was going to win the semi, and I said "I certainly hope not", and then when he drew ahead, I fascetiously commented abiut a late defeat. The only reason I've commented since is that you keep mentioning me by name, and ascribing things to me.

So I'll make it clear for you. In exactly the same spirit that Murray wants "anyone but England" to win, I want "anyone but Murray" to win, regardless of where he lives, who his girlfriend is, etc.

Beyond that, I don't give 3/4 of 5/8 of a flying fig who wins. It was a simple, four word flippant response, and that's all it was. So please, stop telling me how much I care. I don't. I'm totally, utterly indifferent to Murray, to Djokovic, and indeed, to tennis. Period. And bored as hell with having to keep saying so, because of a four word flippant response.
