    Yup, come on England!

Going to 2 games, Australia vs Uruguay (because its at Villa park and that's not too far away from me) and England vs Uruguay (in Manchester cause i wanted to go to an England game).

So by some quirk im going to see Uruguay twice! Tickets were mentally expensive tho cause i didnt get any in the ballot.

my 8 year old son is...

he's got a new teacher this season and they've got a sweep stake on the rugby and a full team plotter on the wall :-)

So.. my house now fully supports Fiji...

Zak Jr even knew where Fiji was roughly on a map... this teacher in a clever man. Rugby in the classroom and Geography lessons in one!

Nope, don't give a toss about the rugby...

However, my South African friends all do, which means getting together for a Braai, which means beers and lots of steak, borewors, chops and yummy foody things!!!

    Go Springboks, I say!!!

Excited? Not exactly. I much prefer football to Rugby, but then, I think I prefer root canal surgery to football. If I never saw or heard of either again, it'd be too soon.

I bet your Sprinboks friends are all in mourning right now Ttaskmaster.
The security guard here has a lot of Bok friends and they were stunned by how well the Japanese played.

Yep - loving it, can't wait for more games to be played.

Great upset for SA from Japan.

Verging on suicidal, actually... mainly after my ribbing!!
I mean, the Springboks got their backsides utterly served to them (one half sashimi, the other tempura-battered) by a bunch of pretty little guys called the Blossoms!!!
Therefore what's the point in anything, now...?

They might as well end it all, give it up, no point in life, work, play... and certainly no point in eating that droewors, so they might as well give it to me... heh heh heh!!

Scotland are looking very good, but I doubt they'll have an easy ride against the 'Boks.

I doubt the 'Boks will have it easy against Scotland! If they win either of their final two matches they're through to the quarter finals. Bonus points earned from close defeats could put them in with a shout too.

    C'mon Scotland!

I would not be surprised to see Scotland go through with the way they have been playing. I'd not be surprised to see England go out with some of they way they've been playing too.

Re: Anyone excited for the Rugby World Cup (Post your support)

Eng vs Aus is going to be interesting. As is Wales Fiji. Wales don't have a full week rest and their injury problems may make it closer.

Disappointed rather than surprised we lost against Wales. England haven't really fired for years now. Reliamt on individual brilliance in order to get some large scores. Confidence at the break down is poor; isolated runners again and again to the point we're unable to play out a few phases to get some field position.

With all the players at our disposal we end up playing two enforcers at centre. Our trump card is to bring on 'happy feet' Haskell. How we chose him over Stefan Armitage is mystifyingly.
