Question Price Check - 2tb SATA Hard Drives, 3.5", Seagate / Hitachi

    Hi there

I am currently selling three standard size 2tb hard drives (not on hexus yet) for collection from W6 West London. I want to know if the prices I am asking are reasonable - the drives have not had a hard life and have in fact been out of use for years. I just don't have the storage requirements I used to think I did. However they are all quite a few years old.

I am after some idea of the second hand value / price to put on these, bear in mind it's collection only but it is London and I'm near two large underground stations so quite central.

First - Two Seagate Barracuda Green 2000GB Drives. ST2000DL003. 64mb cache, 5900rpm. Used for 2 years or so, in windows Raid 0. Not used for past 3 years. Will be checked for SMART and bad sectors and wiped. Asking £38 each cash or £73 for both.

Second - One Hitachi 7K2000 0F10311 2tb drive, part number H3D20003272S. Used rarely for around 2-3 years, been sitting around for the past 5 though. Asking £42 collected (7200 rpm).

Please note - this is NOT a for sale thread. Please don't PM me to buy until you see a for sale thread here. I don't want to break any rules.

I'm asking £110 for all three collected, or the prices above. Are the prices reasonable? I am open to offers and have mentioned that in the adverts. I am not in any hurry to shift these but it would be good to get it out of the way. I just want to be competitive to ebay and gumtree prices etc etc.

    Many thanks

Be Careful on the Internet! I ran and tackled a drive by mining attack today. It's not designed to do anything than provide fake texts (say!)
