User and group nobody on the thecus N5200 pro

I've managed to delete them through SSH whilst trying to configure slim server to access an ACL protected directory... Can someone tell me..

is the username: nobody and the group: nobody

a default username/group in the Thecus Linux build?

and do you know the best way of reinstating them? Will a system reset bring them back...

    help

Re: User and group nobody on the thecus N5200 pro

    Ok I've fixed this problem!

I was already on Firmware version 2.00.01, but the Thecus allows you to 'upgrade' to the same version, thus as a result, I guess, it restored the Linux build and the user 'nobody'. (I mean I did try and create a user nobody myself previously, and whilst I succeeded in doing that, slim server still wouldn't start).

    Any comments still welcome. Cheers.

PS. My RAID setup all remained as was with no data loss.
