5200 - Firmware upgrade to 2.00.04 'fails'

Hi,

I am currently running fw 2.00.02.2 (oops) and i am trying to upgrade to 2.00.04. After selecting the file and clicking apply, the web gui states:-

(cut and pasted without formatting)

Firmware Upgrade
i Fail
System firmware upgrade fail :

Can anyone suggest how i force an upgrade?

Have your tried download another copy of the bin file - I have just done it and it worked fine - so wonder if it is an issue with a corrupted download on the bin file?

Thanks for the suggestion, Yeah, I have tried a few times, and on another windows machine (fresh download atempts also on this pc).

Any other ideas?

Hi all, I have upgraded using a usb key and script. Thanks anyway.

Ok, so it was working ok for a day!!! after a couple reboots, it now boots really quickly with no settings (the starting network/web service etc. flashes up all in a row VERY quickly, then a very short beep)

The LCD shows Raid: NONE (when there is/was), WAN N/A, date/time, system fan ok, disks [OOO..]

Help!!

I tried flashing from the USB stick again, but nothing...

FYI (if anyone is interested!)

Thecus support has asked i return it to the reseller, the "Disk on Module" needs replacing.
