    S.M.A.R.T. on N2100?

I am sitting here waiting for my N2100 to format its 2 500GB's in RAID1, when i started to wonder about drive failures, i have already tested these units by failing the drives and they do recover, but what happens if the S.M.A.R.T. State is bad, my server emails me, but does the N2100 show any lights or even a buzzer?

The last NAS i used was a D-Link and when the drive failed, i lost everything, apparently a problem with every single DNS-323.

    Update:

RAID just finished building, tried to copy USB key, wouldn't work so i rebooted via web interface, log back in and go to RAID Managment - Where did my RAID go?
They all say N/A and its like i never asked it to do it, 2 hours of creating an array for nothing.

Has this happened to anyone else before?

    Update:

Built the RAID again, seems to be working fine with the drives now, luckily, just need to get the temp down by at least 10 degrees, room is 21, Thecus is 50
