N7700 - Can we use modules from N5200 Pro?

I wonder if we can use the modules available for the N5200, especially the SSHD and SYSUSERS. Thanks,

Yes or atleast I think so. I have installed modules on my N7700 from both the 5200 and 5200PRO and the ones I have installed work fine. I would still proceed with caution and hopefully they will make some modules for the N7700 but so far I have not seen any problems.

Well they should work as they are all x86 systems. I can't imagine the firmware would be that different between the N5200 series and the N7700/N8800.

Seems like there is a Target NAS setting in the Install.rdf file in the root of the ZIP file. When I tried the SSH module, the web GUI didn't show the module as being installed.

Did you install it just by clicking Browse and then Install? It should have appeared in the module list, correct?

Fixed the "user error". Unzip the file to upload the .MOD file, rather than trying to upload the .ZIP file. It was that simple, duh!
