N5200/N4100PRO bootup sequence/file systems mount

Hello friends,

Does anybody know the exact boot sequence for N5200/N4100PRO? I need to add "auto" mount for few external drives so when unit boots up those drives will be mounted.

It seems to me that boot process doesn't use /etc/rc.d files which would be a great place to add user-defined activities.

Any hints?

If You want to add user defined activities during boot and shutdown, then the META module might be the choice for You - it gives You possibilities to execute scripts during boot up and shutdown.

Do you know by chance at what moment of startup/shutdown process the scripts are executed by this module?

I assume toward the end of startup and the beginning of shutdown. But it's only a guess...

I'm not sure about the exact sequence - the META startup/stop scripts are executed as paert of the module management stuff.
If I do somethiong I first do a script which checks the current status and then depending on that I do the next actions - sometimes it is necessary to implement a wait in the script.
