esx 3.0 multiple iscsi targets

I have 2 n5200pro, one currently has 2 iscsi volumes that I can see in esx.
I'm trying to add another iSCSI volume that I created on the other nas. I can see the target in storage adapters, but when I try to add the lun in the add storage menu, nothing comes up.
could the problem be that the path of the new iscsi target is the same one as the other target (as shown in the picture)

This is apparently by design - We had the same problem at work where we have 2 N8800s - added targets on the first fine, added the second and... ESX is unable to add them. I raised a ticket and got a big shrug, blaming the ESX iSCSI initiator.

well I believe the problem is the 2 targets having the same ID
since I needed the iscsi volume for DPM I installed the ms iscsi inititator on the machine and I'm accessing the nas using that.
I'm not sure about performance issues, at least I found a workaround
does esx read the scsi id from the iqn? I wonder if there is a way to manually set the thecus iscsi iqn

Dear gweedo,

The iSCSI ign number can be set when you "add" the iSCSI volume under space allocation.

hi thecus-ivan, thanks for the reply
with firmware 2.00.15 it lets me change only the target name, iqn year and month. the rest of the iqn is assigned by the firmware.
is there another firmware where you can set the iscsi iqn yourself?
