N7700 itunes server not starting up (was working fine)

The itunes server on my N7700 fw 3.00.08 was working fine, then I uploaded a .playlist file to the itunes_music share to try to set up a couple of smart playlists. The server will now not come on-line through itunes (it doesn't see it).

I tried stopping and restarting the service from the web admin interface with no result. I tried deleting the playlist file and restarting the N7700 and this also doesn't work.

When I point my browser to the NAS port 3689 I am not getting the usual (useless) login from the firefly service.

Any thoughts? Should I generally need to physically restart the NAS to get the itunes service to restart once it has been disabled?

    Need my music! Thanks.

Re: N7700 itunes server not starting up (was working fine)

Am I the only one having issues here?
I have restarted the NAS, and stopped, restarted, changed the name and scan interval the iTunes server, to no effect.
Tech support is unresponsive on the issue.
    Help!
