Actuall I'm not new..just reading all the great posts since I joined last Year..It was extremely helpful in resolving issues with an Alienware m15x I purchased.. Talk about overkill..two members who lived near the plant told me when they actually rolled off the assembly production line and even where..Thanx to Admin and some translations This was information not readily available anywhere....try it some time..This site is awsome..if you can't find what you need here..chances are high..they will tell you where to go..instead of googling all day..
I'm in your debt.
Looking foward to more great reading..and hopefully when proficient enough..contributing and being of more help.

Hi everyone
This is Lorenda from South Africa. Stumbled upon this site whilst googling for "best cake ever" recipe. Seems like there are some cake-lovers here, like me.
I a a 49 year old white female living in the south end of the Dark Continent, but there is nothing dark about my life. Enjoy cooking and baking, love the outdoors - the Afrcan bush, the sea and the mountains. Love good food (although I am also a bit of a health nut - but do indulge every now and again), good South African (!!) wine, reading, adventure, and generally just being physically active - hiking, mountain bking, cycling, extreme sport. Love travel, and in particular would like to go to the more unusual destinations: Alaska, Antarctica, Himalayas. Have been to quite a few of the "big cities" of the world. Also intend climbing Mount Kilimanjaro - anyone else out there who wants to do that?
Since there seem to be some great cooks on this site, would love to exchange recipes - and just chat generally Would be great to get to know some of you - I really don't know yet what this site is all about, and who is out there.
Cheers to friendship!!
Lorenda
