need help and advice for overclock asus p5b premium

asus p5b premium vista edition
quad core 2.40ghz
corsair 3gb
700 watts power supply
$30 cpu fan(i know it cheap,but willing to upgrade to liquid cooling if i know how to overclock)

i saw an advertisement about the quad core can be overclock to 3.0ghz. does anyone know how to do it? after i bought this motherboard. i know that i should get the evga680i instead, cause i think this motherboard suck. but anyway do you guy think this motherboard can be overclock to have better speed? if so, can someone give me a quick lesson of how to do it? thanks
