About LinkBacksright now i'm using a cheap $30 cpu fan for my quad core 2.40ghz . i never overclock before but alway want to try. how much you think i should spent on a cooling system? what brand is the best for that price?

Welcome to Hexus, There are a lot of good air coolers around, Arcticfreezer 7 pro, Zalmans 9700, Scythe Mine,Thermalright Ultima 90 to name just a few plus water cooling could also be considered. What would be best for your system I do not know but if you post this question in the Hardware section then I'm sure that you will get more than a few good recommendations.
