Hi there just thought I would introduce myself.
I am new to the PC scene - got my first one about two years ago and I went wth a Dell.
I chickened out of building my own for this time round and went with Alienware! Please don't flame me for this - I know the reasons why I should not have gone with them.
But some people just aren't as confident or technically minded as others.
My new rig was ordered in September and has STILL NOT arrived because of the delay in getting the 6800 Ultra!
Since that time the FX55 has been released, AMD have gone PCIE and now SLI is coming through!
Sometimes I hate this crazy hobby of mine.
Any way I look forward to discussing things with you guys! If anyone is from Birmingham in the UK give me a shout!
Hi all u ppl!

Hi
My name is 'wannabgeek' and i have just joined this very informative PC Forum!
Hopefully during my time here you peeps can help me to understand the process of self building computers. At the moment i have a £1400 Mesh system thats abut 2 yrs old and have only in the last 3 mths have really sat down and started getting into the workings of the PC! My aim hopefully is to build myself a new system with using the parts of this one and maybe make a lesser system out of whats left and give it to my Parents!
So if you do happen to see one of my posts, can i ask you to please bear with me as i have the early stages of "Alzheimers disease" and sometimes my wording may be a bit hard to decipher..'Only somtimes though'!

Hi,
I'm Davey Whyte and I've been working for Mesh Computers PLC for so long I forget exactly how many years it's been, 8 i think.....
I previously worked for Carrera before they went under the first time, back in the days where they were based in Tottenham Court road.
Unfortunately I never really heard of this forum prior to hearing of one of our customers needing help, and then found myself religeously checking back to see if anyone else needed help.
I'm most definitely a gamer and currently involved heavily in City of Heroes (Tenaka Khan on Union). Hoping to have a crack at Republic Commander as soon as I can get my hands on a copy (funds always a problem )
Davey
