    Keith(nash) from XFX

    Hi all,

    Well I'm new to this forum stuff, having been reading but this is my first (virgin) post, one of many.....

    Well who am I......

    I work for XFX (UK,NL,PT) - www.xfxforce.com - hope you know what we make, if not well we are the Renowned NVIDIA VGA partner, the guys who have the "X" box style retail box. The guys who launch the FIRST 512MB 6800Ultra last month.

    Also we just launched a FIRST in the world SPU card - known as RAID 3 - yes RAID 3!!! - look out on HEXUS.net for the review coming soon... Infact HEXUS are using this card in their new server releases.

    So if you want to know DIRECT from the manufacture about this SPU I will do my best to help you all..... time depending as I spent most of my time in airports (thank goodness for wireless and hotspots)

    Some info about XFX and out new REVO64 SPU line OUT this month....

    The XFX Revo64 storage accelerator card featuring the Netcell Revolution storage processing unit (SPU) delivers a 100% hardware-based RAID engine that powers the industry’s only true hardware RAID 0, 1, 3 and JBOD storage arrays. Completely driverless by design, the XFX Revo64 can be easily installed into new and existing computers in very little time. It is also completely compatible with existing applications and does not require driver updates. If a hard drive connected to an XFX Revo64 storage accelerator card fails, the system does not lose data nor does it suffer performance loss.

    Welcome Keith!

    I have an XFX 6800GT... so I know who XFX are

    I'm also looking to upgrade from PCI RAID 5 to something PCIe and more Linux friendly, so NetCell might be the way forward.

    Stick around, and have some fun
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Hola! Welcome to these here forums.

    It's nice to see that we have another industry person here, one who is willing to discuss stuff with us, the common plebs of the IT world.

    I must profess to not really understanding all this graphics card malarky, but I like the fact that you have big numbers, acronyms and the word "Ultra" in your post, which is clearly the sign of a superior product

    I'll get my coat....
