    Popped into your shop

    Hi Folks,
just like to say I was impressed by your shop off Tottenham Court Road. I was down on business and thought it would be worth poking my head around. I don't often get to see things first hand as Edinburgh isn't exactly packed with quality stores like yours. Unfortunately I had wanted to see one of the Silentium cases, but none were out. That Mirai 22" looked pretty sweet.

Anyway nice to see such a crackin store

funnily enough I was surprised to find your shop within spitting distance of the pub I always meet my friends in!

I remember saying, "oooh, I've seen those guys on Hexus, must pop in" then I was bodily dragged away to prevent me spending money I don't have! (damn wedding!!)

that's the problem with london, and the uk in general. go to the contient and any decent size university town will have a few shops like yoyo knocking around. only problem is that it's actually cheaper to get a flight out to, say, germany, buy system parts there and fly back again than to buy them here. obviously even more worth it if you buy lots of stuff (economies of scale and all that). and i am not exaggerating: i just did exactly that.

well, i live in birmingham - we have crap computer shops here.

i was very close to buying a q6600 but then someone pointed out to me that if i buy e6600 now and q6600 in august, itll cost me the same (as itll drop price) and ill have a spare e6600 (which i hear are not incapable chips by any means!)

Im still confused as to which motherboard clocks well, but must have good cooling so nvidia is out of the question

I want 2gb of ram, but will stretch to 4gb if the difference in cost is not hideous (i hear that after ddr2 prices fall they will rise again quite sharply).

and of course i want an 8800gtx but am waiting for r600 hoping for a little drop in price.

    oh, and i want a 24inch tft.

thems are my thoughts, i get a good nhs bursary so do have quite a bit of cash (for a student) - enough perhaps to forget the 24inch and go for one of those dell 30inchers ppl are talking about (not that i think i want to).

I reckon the YOYOTech.hierarchy should put together a video or something so that other people can see what all the fuss is about

Best part is that major stores, like PC World, fill acres with loads of stuff you don't want/will never need...

..occasionally touch 'quality' by accidently stocking a PhongII or sumsuch...

...whereas is the space PC World use for their tills alone...

...YOYOTech pack all the tech you need and fill enthusiasts with greed !

    Perfect for tech luvvers
