    Long cabled power supply?

    Just a quickie.

I'm about to build a new system and am thinking about the Antec P182 case.

I have read in various reviews that many PSUs don't have long enough cables. Is anyone aware of a good PSU (600ish W) that has long enough cables for this case?

Modular and silent would be a bonus too.

    Cheers,

I've jus built a PC in the P182 and the leads on the Corsair HX520 were long enough, so the 620s should be too

Thanks for the replies. The Corsair was on my list.

Nice rig in the pics, BTW.

I've got a P180b and Asus P5WDH-Deluxe in it. I bought a Seasonic S12-600W supply, plus a pair of extension cables so that the 20pin+4pin etc. would reach to the (far opposite) side of the board.

However, I think the S12 has gone through a few revisions so take a look at silentpcreview.com and familiarise yourself with it. It's a great supply, very quiet, and I think the latest revision comes with longer leads.

    PSU's For Antech P182

hi there, the power supplies i would recommend for the antech cases are :

    Antec true power 650w (YOYO code - 4848) - £77.76
due back instock at end of week

    Corsair 620w HX series (YOYO code - 14241) - £93.84

both are very good power supplies, and both have the long cables for the antec 180 / 182 cases

    thanks
    mark
