    New Budget Gaming PC Build

    Hi all,

I'm thinking of ordering this spec from Yoyotech and was wondering if this all looks OK, particularly whether the memory will work with the motherboard?

    Abit IP35 Intel P35
    Intel Core 2 Duo E4400
    Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400 2GB Kit
Hitachi Deskstar T7K250 250GB SATA 2 7200RPM Hard Disk Drive
    Microsoft Windows XP Home OEM
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler
Coolermaster iGreen 500W ATX Active PFS Powersupply

    + Case

I already have a decent enough graphics card (7900GTO), but will also be ordering something like a 7600GT to go with the current PC that I will be selling on.

The new PC will be used for gaming primarily (ET:QW, STALKER, COD4), and I would like to try overclocking at some point.

I was also wondering if there were any plans to have the Centurion 5 cases back in stock and if not would the case and fans below be a suitable alternative?

Antec NSK6000 Super Midi Black/Silver Tower Case
    2 x Arctic Cooling 92mm Fan

    My total budget is £550.

Any advice would be much appreciated, especially if you think I should be looking at any alternatives.

    Regards,

    Brevik

He's right to get xp imo.

You would do better with a case that uses 120mm fans..even something like an akasa zen for about £30.

As far as I know those power supplys are quite noisey and not that great. Something like a 430w seasonic silent jobby for £35 with be good for your system.

i'm currently using coolermaster iGreen 500w.
i have no problem with it.
iGreen has the best efficiency as i know. higher efficiency cause the psu have lower heat. which means fan turn slower = more quiet.

the noise which made from my system now is the cooler really. i don't really hear the noise from PSU. i may replace to water cool in a short time.

does anyone has any suggestion on water cooling? i want easy set up.

i'm also using Vista in my system. not found any problems so far.

i think you should wait for Centurion 5.
it is budget on price. but NOT budget on qaulity.
i personally not using this case. But i been to a AMD show a few month ago.
AMD use Centurion 5 case as their show system. so i just had deep look by that time.
