I have just finished putting my order together and have included a copy of XP Home which has taken every-so-slightly over budget. However, I have 3 copies of it here, all safely stowed away in a CD wallet, only this 'ere moron forgot to mark the discs with the installation keys. I have one key, extracted from my, now deceased, system. If, by some miracle, this key happens to match to one of the discs, can I return the copy of XP I have purchased for a full refund? In other words, it is only being purchased as 'insurance' against me not being able to install any of the 3 copies I already have.
If I can be refunded, then the money can be put to better use upgrading my 2 Macs to Leopard.
Could a member of YT staff, or other knowledgeable bod, please let me know? Obviously the seal won't be broken until I have tried all the copies I already own.
Cheers
Sarah
