Antec 1000w Quattro incompatable with 8800GTX

I've noticed alot of people are having trouble with the Quattro and the 8800GT well i can say i am having trouble with the 8800GTX now.

1 month ago i bought my 1Kw Quattro because i was scared that my EZcool 600w might blow up my 7900GTX, so i switched and believe it or not the antec just randomly blew and took out my card, motherboard etc. I was not happy.

After forking out £400 for an 8800GTX and getting the Antec replaced by you guys i plug it in and it comes up with the insufficiant power message. I then try my EZcool 600w on it and it works! an then following that a load of other people around the world are also having the same problem. Would it be possible to drop by monday and get a refund considering it still is brand new, it works and is in 100% mint condition?
