    Exclamation "No Signal"

I was playing CoD 5 and all of a sudden the screen goes black and I get the "No Signal" message on both monitors, it started the other day like the card is giving up but its new.

It is slightly overclocked at 800/870 and my processor is clocked at 2.8 from 2.2.

    Any ideas?

Does the computer switch off (fans stop spinning, for example) and are you able to boot again straight away or do you have to leave it for a while?

    Re: Keeps saying "No Signal"

I've just noticed in your hardware list that you're using 512MB of DDR and 1GB of DDR2. Are you sure that's right? This motherboard only supports DDR.

Did you stability test the OC or did you just jump straight into it?

I don't think it's likely to cause a blank screen, but is your CPU/GPU overheating? Try logging the temps while playing a game or running load software. Try furmark for loading your GPU. Post your temps.

    I use HWMonitor.
    CPU: Idle - 35 Min, Load - 49 Max
    GPU: Idle - 51 Min, Load - 78 Max

It was around 71 Max on GPU load but I tried to remove the red casing and I think I might of interrupted the thermalpaste. Also there are some pads, possible thermal sticky pads on the back headspreader which I've took of breaking the seal.

    Re: Keeps saying "No Signal"

I'm not entirely sure of the max temps for that GPU, but that doesn't seem too high. CPU looks ok, too. Try returning CPU/GPU to stock speeds for a while and see how that goes. You should be able to re-install the heatsink, IPA or Arcticlean should remove what's left of the thermal pads and you can use your preferred thermal paste to apply to the GPU - I use MX2.

Not something I've heard of before TBH. Try reposting this thread here: http://forums.hexus.net/help-technical-advisory/ - more people read that section so you're more likely to get a response. Sorry I couldn't help more.
